ABA at Blue Ridge Autism Care

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach widely used in the field of autism intervention. Research has demonstrated the efficacy of ABA in improving various outcomes for individuals with autism, including communication, social skills, adaptive behavior, and challenging behaviors.   ABA involves systematically applying behavioral principles to improve socially significant behaviors.  Here's how ABA is applied in the context of autism:

Early Intervention:

  • ABA is often initiated early in life with a focus on providing intervention as soon as an autism diagnosis is suspected or confirmed. Early intervention has been shown to be particularly effective in promoting positive outcomes.   It is important to our staff at BRAC that we empower families with the knowledge  and tools they need to support their child's growth from the onset of services.   Through education and guidance, we build a foundation for long-term success.

.Individualized Programs:

  • ABA programs at BRAC are highly individualized. Each intervention plan is tailored to the specific needs, strengths, and challenges of the individual. We believe in the strength of collaboration and the power of supportive partnerships. We recognize that individualizing programs requires a partnership where families play a pivotal role in shaping the journey.
